Viacom, Time Warner Reach Agreement

Viacom and Time Warner Cable have reached an agreement in principle that ends the threat of Viacom channels, including MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, being pulled from the cable operator's systems, a Viacom spokeswoman said.
The agreement was reached just after midnight Eastern Time, when Time Warner's carriage deal with Viacom was set to expire.
