Jake's gone, but he'll be back
He might have slid down Michelle's ladder and away into the night, but Jake the builder will be back on Corrie later this year. Actor Kenny Doughty, who plays Jake, has been signed up to appear in the New Year's Eve episode of the soap, a Coronation Street spokeswoman confirmed.
