TV_Cyn Not surprised but it's still a shame. These are all good shows. And ironically, I no longer watch any of them, so I guess that's part of the problem.
I liked all three when they began. Pushing Daisies became too much of the same once the novelty wore off - Dirty Sexy Money was up against something else I liked and when Eli Stone went on hiatus I just never went back.
Now Life, who was in the same boat, that show I went back too and it's don't miss TV for me.

Robyn74 I tried to watch this Pushing Daisies show for the first time this week. I wasn't feeling it. Maybe choose a bad episode but it was really hard to follow.

ABC Cancels 'Pushing Daisies,' 'Dirty Sexy Money' and 'Eli Stone'
BuddyTV —
... has stated that the tales of Ned and Chuck and Emerson would not end even if the series were canceled. A comic book is a possibility, perhaps even a film, though that is doubtful. Perhaps, in a few months, the ABC offices will find a Pie-Maker of their own, and life will be given back to Pushing Daisies . I advise against such optimism in this case, however, because it is a monumental long shot. Regardless, it was good while it lasted. -Oscar Dahl, BuddyTV Senior Writer Source: The Hollywood Reporter (Image Courtesy of ABC)

... on its disastrous outsourced Sunday lineup, replacing "Valentine, Inc." and "Easy Money" with syndicated movies and, in a salute to peanut-lovers everywhere, "Jericho" reruns. (Now, if only they could add "Moonlight" to the mix...) ABC declined to give back nine orders to "Pushing Daisies," "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Eli Stone," effectively canceling all three once their initial run of 13 episodes is up. (Bryan Fuller is still talking about wrapping up all the "Pushing Daisies" stories ...
'Pushing Daisies,' 'Easy Money,' 'Eli Stone' and others axed

... , "Pushing Daisies, the whimsical dramedy about a lovelorn pie-maker, has been axed. According to the Hollywood Reporter's James Hibberd, ABC is "actively avoiding the c word" -- cancellation -- for two other shows, "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Eli Stone," but the producers of those shows have been told that no more episodes are being ordered, which is effectively the same as cancellation. ...
Did Eli Stone screw itself into getting canceled?
Clique Clack TV —
... came back this season, it came back strong. Really strong. It looks like the viewers and the network don’t care, since beyond the 13 episodes that have already been shot, no more will be ordered. Sounds like a cancellation to me. Anyway, from Eli surviving the aneurysm surgery to Nate inheriting the visions to Eli taking them back, it was incredibly well done. ...

TV Watchers —
... As the Hollywood Reporter says, ABC hasn't actually said the word "cancelled," it's just chosen not to order new episodes of each show. Dasies creator Bryan Fuller has said he'd like to continue the adventures of Ned the piemaker in comic book form -- something that's worked really well for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and to a lesser extent, its spin-off Angel. There's also talk that the PD cancellation frees up fuller to return to Heroes, where he wrote the excellent "Company Man" episode in season one. ...
