Justin Timberlake Will be Boo Boo in ‘Yogi Bear’
OK! Magazine - The First for Celebrity News — Justin Timberlake is in talks to play the straight-talking bear cub, Boo Boo, in a new live-action and computer animated movie version of The Yogi Bear Show. The singer may be heading to Jellystone Park with a star-studded cast including Anna Faris and Dan Aykroyd. Anna is in negotiations to play a documentary filmmaker in Yogi Bear. Hey there! It's Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear?!? And Justin Timberlake as Boo-Boo? It's not April Fool's Day is it?
Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news. — Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. This is probably the oddest piece of news to hit this week... Apparently next month production begins on a live action/CG animation hybrid adaptation of Yogi Bear directed by JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH helmer Eric Brevig. Variety has a story on this film indicating a cast is shaping up with Dan Aykroyd in talks to voice Yogi Bear, Justin Timberlake in talks to voice Boo-Boo and Anna Faris in talks to play a live-action documentary filmmaker I assume doing a feature in and around Jellystone. Uh... so, yeah. Who thinks this is a good idea again? I love Dan Aykroyd, but this is even more depressing than Bill ...

Fear this: Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear
TV Squad — I could make another joke about how Hollywood is out of ideas, but why bother? However, as further proof of the concept, a live-action/CGI Yogi Bear movie is in the works based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon from way back when. Dan Aykroyd will be lending his voice for Yogi and Justin Timberlake will be the voice of Boo Boo. Did anyone else just feel a cold shiver down their spine? Anna Faris will also be in the movie as a documentary filmmaker. I like Anna Faris even when she's in crap movies, but I don't think her presence is going to make me like this one. I'm sorry to say that this movie will likely do well and the kids will ...

Justin Timberlake Lands Role of His Lifetime: Yogi's Sidekick Boo Boo
Gawker: defamer — ... live action/CG animated version makes its historic way to the cameras. Naturally Hollywood's biggest stars have been vying for the leading roles, but when the fighting stopped, Dan Aykroyd was the warrior still standing; the former SNL star will voice the great Yogi in his epic search for picnic baskets. Clearly, the role of Boo Boo could go to none other than J Tims, and so it has. Anna Faris will play a previously unknown character described as a "documentary filmmaker." [ Variety ] • JJ Abrams is in talks to direct his first TV episode since the 2004 Lost ...
