... After weeks of will-they-or-won’t-they speculation, US channel ABC have finally pulled the plug on the sublime Pushing Daisies . We’re also hearing that Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money won’t be recomissioned after the first 13 episodes of their second seasons are broadcast. We’re pretty gutted about all three, though our hearts are truly broken over the loss of the mesmerising Pushing Daisies. We hope ITV1 holds true to its promise of showing the entire second series in a decent slot. Sob.

After lots of speculation, and a whole freakin' heap of denial on my part, ABC officially decided not to pick up Pushing Daisies. To be fair, two other sophomore series, Dirty Sexy Money and Eli Stone, also got axed by the alphabet network. They refuse to actually say cancelled, which just ticks me off more.
