The favorite tidbit I took away from the story was seeing Fox Networks Group CEO Tony Vinciquerra call the top-12 results shows "very boring." I couldn't agree more. Even though Tuesday-night Idol has been appointment viewing for me for years, if I had anything else to do on Wednesdays, I'd skip the results show and just check Ken Barnes' blog posts when I got home -- they were more efficient and, frankly, more entertaining.
